APC Packaging, a beauty packaging solutions provider, is celebrating its 15-year anniversary on March 28, 2021. In 2006, Lisa Lin saw there was a gap between what the cosmetics and skincare brands needed in North America and packaging manufacturing in China. Brands were looking for quicker turn-around times, increased responsiveness from packaging manufacturers, higher quality products as well as guidance through sustainable packaging development and innovative custom mold development. Lin developed a team of engineers, project managers, key account managers and logistics coordinators in their headquarters in Fort Lauderdale to work directly with a team of APC Packaging employees in China. Both APC Packaging teams in China and the U.S. work daily to ensure the quickest turn times without sacrificing quality. Lin also recognized that the needs of many indie and smaller brands were being ignored and that she could help them grow into national brands. She created an in-stock program and developed a 50,000 square foot warehouse in Ft. Lauderdale with 24-hour turn-around times on orders. Recent Developments As APC Packaging grew and the industry needs changed, APC dedicated resources to develop innovative and sustainable packaging options. In the last year, the focus on sustainable packaging has grown and APC Packaging has responded by introducing several patented innovations including the Airless Refillable System (ARS) and the Refillable Jar (JRA). In 2020, APC Packaging was recognized by LuxLife Magazine for their Health & Beauty Wellness Awards as the Most Sustainable Beauty Product Packaging Specialist. In 2021, APC Packaging has several new sustainable innovations that will be rolling out. The first one is scheduled in April and is a true mono-material product for easy recycling. CEO, Lisa Lin along with her sister, president, Christina Lin have grown APC Packaging into a multi-million dollar global business with a focus on skincare, innovation and sustainability in the beauty packaging arena for global brands including Estee Lauder, Clinique, Glamglow, Beauty Stat and Dr. Brandt.
